Audi has not been as successful as usual lately, but in 2025 the trend reversal is expected to take place with two new models, among other things.
In total, Audi delivered around 1.7 million vehicles globally in 2024, of which around 164,000 were electric cars. A decline of around 12 percent and 8 percent respectively for e-cars, which is causing little joy in Ingolstadt.

Trend reversal in 2025 with new models and plug-in hybrids
Audi's CEO, Gernot Döllner, defended last year's unsatisfactory results with the difficult framework conditions and the transition phase in which the Ingolstadt-based company was stuck. Due to the numerous new announcements, facelifts and new models, there was not yet the desired success in 2024, but in 2025 the newcomers to the Audi range should then unfold their full effect.
With the 20 planned, new or rejuvenated models this year and last year, the 2024 slump is expected to be only a short-term one. Döllner also casually confirms that the Audi A7 and Audi Q3 model families, two central models for Audi's success, will be revised in 2025. In addition to these two new cars, electrification is also to be further promoted. Numerous new plug-in hybrids are probably already being planned to offer more bridging technology to the full electric car. We are looking forward to the new announcements from Ingolstadt for 2025.
